Had dinner here on our last night in the area. There were 3 of us and one take out order. My hubby and I split the the fish basket of the day, Mahi Mahi. Served with french fried potatoes and cole slaw. The slaw was just ok, not a lot of flavor. However, the fish and potatoes were excellent. The fish was flaky and fried to prefection served piping hot. As were the potatoes. They were larger cuts than regular fries but were excellent, crispy and tender. We had bread pudding for dessert which was also excellent, a huge serving served hot with whipped cream. Great consistency and flavor. The other payron had the Mahi Mahi tacos and madhed potatoes. He too enjoyed his dinner. It was a week day so not crowded and we had great service. Noce atmosphere and nice setting on the wharf.

During a recent family visit to the Village of Baytowne Wharf, we had lunch at Slick Lips Seafood and Oyster House. The atmosphere was inviting, and we were promptly greeted and seated. Our experience started on a high note with the attentive service. Although we barely saw the waitress who took our orders and gave us our check, a kind older woman delivered our meals and consistently checked in on us, ensuring our glasses were never empty. Her thoughtful attention made us feel welcomed and well cared for throughout our meal. We began our lunch with drinks: the Baytowne Summer ($11), a vibrant and fruity cocktail, and the Red Sangria ($9), both refreshing choices perfect for a warm day. The Baytowne Summer was particularly delightful. For our meal, we ordered a variety of dishes to get a sense of what Slick Lips had to offer. The Lobster Roll, priced at $29, was undoubtedly the star of the table. It was rich and flavorful, with tender lobster meat that justified the splurge. In contrast, the Local Catch of the Day - Mahi Mahi - ($19) was a letdown. While it was cooked well, I found it slightly dry and lacking the seasoning I had hoped for. The Po Boy and Grilled Chicken Sandwich, both priced at $17 and $13 respectively, were decent but didn't leave a lasting impression. Nothing about them was particularly memorable. Similarly, the Alfredo Pasta at $6 was simple, lacking the depth of flavor I typically seek in a pasta dish. However, for the price, the portion was great. Overall, my family and I enjoyed this restaurant. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit, especially for the Lobster Roll.

My husband & I went for an early lunch on Friday. We were greeted immediately and seated promptly. Wonderfully attentive server (cant remember her name, started with an E, blond hair. She was great!) Started with the chargrilled oysters with garlic & herbed parm for me & fried pickles for hubs. Bith were outstanding! Especially the oysters! Hubs doesnt care for then usually, but ate half! For entrees, I got the grilled shrimp. Cooked perfectly! But the start was hubs fried Mahi-mahi. WOW! Flaky fish, crunchy coating, super tender. Just amazing! A couple of cocktails for me & a couple of beers for hubs totaled a little over $100. Not outrageous at all. Definitely recommend and will return next time in town!

The food was excellent. It lived up to all the awards that it has been given. The service was great. The food came out quickly. The inside was decorated neatly. The only downside is the parking. You should definitely uber into the location because free public parking is limited and valet can cost you 20.

The Mahi Mahi fish sandwich was delicious! We actually ate here two nights in a row and ordered the same thing. The Mahi Mahi was the catch of the day and it was amazing! We also order the pimento cheese bacon balls which were also ahhmazing. This is definitely the best restaurant in the whole resort area. It's casual but has elevated features like the lighting and kitchen where you can see the chefs preparing your meal. We also had awesome waiters both nights at the bar and our table. Slick Lips will be on our radar every time we come to Sandestin!

Austin the bartender is WONDERFUL!! He was attentive to my food allergy and made sure the kitchen was aware. I had the Key Lime snapper!!

Great tacos. Yummy fries. We sat at the bar and had a great meal. Oh, the cup of gumbo was good, too. We're here for a month and I think we have found our local go-to spot.
